Making Yourself Accountable


Whether poet, journalist, fiction writer, or memoirist, writers all have one thing in common: a need to make progress on their work. At Long Beach Literary Arts Center's Summer Mixer at the Burnett Neighborhood Library, about two dozen writers networked, then got down to the important business of discussing strategies to be accountable for making progress. One idea is to find an accountability buddy--ideally an acquaintance instead of a friend--who will help you keep track of your goals. More photos.  (8/4/18)
